Prayer is the key
Faith unlocks the door
But God MUST be
in the details!

A poem for healing during abuse

In shadows deep, where darkness reigns,

A heart in turmoil, bound by chains.

In silence, cries echo, unheard, unseen,

A soul in anguish, caught in between.

But know, dear one, within the night,

A spark of hope, a glimmering light.

For in the depths, where pain resides,

Courage blooms, and strength abides.

With each breath taken, a step forward made,

A path unfolds, where wounds may fade.

In the quiet whispers of the soul's refrain,

A melody of resilience, a healing refrain.

Though storms may rage, and shadows loom,

In the heart's sanctuary, there's space to bloom.

For scars may linger, but they do not define,

The beauty that emerges, as stars brightly shine.

So hold onto hope, let love be your guide, In the depths of despair, let your spirit reside. For within you lies a strength untold, A flame of resilience, burning bold.

And as you journey through the night's embrace, Know that you are held in love's gentle grace. For in the depths of darkness, where shadows may roam,

There's a light within you, leading you home.

May this poem offer comfort and strength to those experiencing abuse, reminding them that they are not alone and that healing is possible.
